The location and outside amenities for kids (playground, go carts, tennis court, lamas, goats, bunnies, pirate ship) are lovely, staff at the reception, bar, restaurant very helpful and attentive. Loved the pinocchio water fountain outside. Also the pool was good and clean and kids loved it. Lots of little details for kids around too, like the slide or the inner kugelbahn, and cool kids program such as walking with the lamas.

It was a bit tricky to find ski-in and ski-out ways, but we succeeded (when going home we turned from almost the end of the piste 3 to the car road and skied through patches of snow almost until the house) .

Good location just before Richetlipass. Staff were friendly. Dogs were friendlier. Food was ideal for the night before a big hike.
Ruti is a small village. Ferienwohnungen Alter Raaben was a nice apartment with a helpful host who arranged a taxi to take us to the train station. The scenery is lovely but you need to know there isn't much else in the village except one restaurant where we had lunch, and a Chinese take-out. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday nights. If you book the apartment be sure you have food with you as there is no grocery store. The owner generously provided milk, butter, jams and rolls for us, as well as tea and coffee, even though breakfast wasn't included. If you're a walker it's easy to get around the village but you need your own transportation if you want to explore further. The bus will take you to the next town train station but you have to walk from there into the village of Linthal.
