The Central Plaza Hotel is situated right at Zurich's Central Square next to the main railway station. Guests enjoy free WiFi and complimentary access to the gym next door.
Nothing that I really liked. Unpleasant experience: very small single bed, no hand towels, no face cloths, no shampoo, no body lotion. Coffee machine in the lobby but have to pay 4 Swiss Franks.
Very bad experience with check out. Booked for 4 nights but wanted to extend stay by one more time. After couple of emails and text messages, a message came through BOOKING .COM, saying extra night approved and there will be no extra charge. Confirmed at check in, staff approved. Day before chk out when settling the bill, management said, NO SUCH THING AS FREE NIGHT, will investigate (the proof of the email I showed) later but now have to pay 250 Swiss Franks or check out now, that was 9 pm. After a few requests charged 157 SF. NEVER AGAIN STAYING AT B&B ☹️☹️☹️

The area of Rumlang we were in is convenient to the airport. I enjoyed exploring the lovely walking and biking trails near our hotel and found a few geocaches along the way. My favorite spot was the tree-lined dirt lane that runs along the northeast side of the creek off of Klotenerstrasse. The area is also known for having its very own Golden Gate Bridge! We ate at McDonalds, adjacent to the Radisson, and shopped at the Aldi Suisse (across from hour hotel) for snacks and beer.

Great place close to the airport.
Great place close to the airport. Was able to walk along the river with my service dog before my departure. Beautiful nature despite being right be the airport! Intercity Hotel was great, all easy, clean and friendly!

I read other reviews. Some people are saying they had to pay for the shuttle bus. I had a rented car which I returned to the airport the evening before I left Zurich. I was able to take the shuttle back to the hotel for free. I had an appointment to return to the airport in the morning for my flight, owhich was also free and easy. I don't know why anyone had to pay. The staff made the process easy.

Rumlang is reasonably close to both, the airport and the Hauptbahnhof - the main railway station. It scores on this the most. However, it does not have many eating-out spots, and it is best advised to go to the main railway station and then eat out there.

A tidy town that has nothing open after lunch on Saturday until Monday. And, that’s right, we were there on Sunday. We therefore enjoyed MacDonalds and Subway. Very disappointed that there was nothing Swiss to have.
New hotel around the airport, however we used it as our base to explore Zürich, simply because this one is affordable. we came by car and this hotel has a large parking lot. City center easy to reach by train, station is at 5 min walking. hotel is super comfortable.
Excellent hotel with great staff, high quality breakfast, comfortable rooms and connectivity with Zurich through Rumlang station. Special mention about Ram who was great in the hospitality service and others as well who all deserve applause and appreciation.
This is an excellent hotel with a great location. The reception staff were friendly and professional and always had a smile on their faces. It was a pleasure to stay here and will definitely come back when in Zurich.
Friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is also pet friendly and offered a correctly-sized family room at a convenient location near Zurich airport. Parking at an additonal CHF 15 is quite reasonable.
Location is very accesible to rumlang station.
