The personal in the lobby was really friendly! The room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet did have a lot of options and my 5 year old daugther got the buffet for free. The location is a big plus, just a few minutes away with the free of charge tram to downtown.

This is an inexpensive and plain sort of place, a kind of hostel/hotel, run by a "Genossenschaft" (community). It is cheap and friendly, but not at all luxurious. The community functions as a charity, providing services to its needy users, and letting rooms seems to be a small part of its operations.
There is a kitchen in the basement which everyone staying there can use. The kitchen, like everything else, is very clean, and if you use it you are expected to wash up your dishes and leave the whole place clean.
Breakfast is provided, but it is plain and simple.
Location is excellent, in a small and very quiet street, just off a busy main road with frequent buses (number 20) into the centre of town.
