This hotel is a gem. It was a last minute booking, we booked it 30 mins before we arrived. The room was cottage-style and the view was breath-taking. The hotel is located uphill, which makes the view even better. The neighbourhood is quiet and you can hike nearby (they give you hiking maps). There's a beautiful river nearby.
The Hotel Restaurant Aletsch is situated right at the Mörel train and cable car station, only a 10-minute train ride from the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch Area.

Beautiful location within very short distance from very nice hiking paths and very close to the Aletsch glacier. I loved! The surroundings and scenery are breathtaking and make you feel grateful To the Universe for the opportunity to see them. We did go to Bettmeralp, which is incredible. Really worth to visit!
Very friendly, cosy hotel. My room (superior) was very large with a terrace (would be great in summer). Good buffet breakfast. No restaurant but hotel provides a shuttle service in the evening to the restaurants in town. Hotel is a short but steepish climb up from the train/cable car stations. The spa is a good place to relax after a day in the snow (or a rainy day).
Well-equpped apartment in an apartment house. Within walking distance to the train, bus station, and cable car, so ideal for exploring the mountains. The beds are tilting, but comfortable. There is a lift and parking area in the house.
Be aware that you must check in the hotel Badehotel Salina Maris, not the apartment house!
