The staff make Hotel Kreuz one of the loveliest stays you can have. They are very friendly and extremely helpful.

It was close to bus lines and we got a bus pass that also got us $ off the Lucerne Nature Museum. The staff was fantastic. There is a little grocery store next door and a bigger one 3 blocks down. Macchi bakery is great as well.

I stayed in #501 for two days. This accommodates up to 4 people, while we are a group of 3.
The best thing about this room is that it has walls like 3 bedroom condo. We could sleep very well with this separation.
Location is also good. It's about 15 min walk to Luzern train station, and 10 min walk to bridge and many shops.
Staffs were very helpful.
The 3-star Hotel DES ALPES is ideal for city travelers. It is located directly on the Reuss River in the picturesque, car-free old town of Lucerne right next to the world-famous Chapel Bridge.
Stay at the historic, half-timbered Hotel Rebstock dating from the 14th century, surrounded by a lot of contemporary art, where the people of Lucerne too enjoy wining and dining.

The Hotel Rebstock is a hidden gem tucked sideways off the main promenade at Lucerne, literally 10 minutes' walk from the Central Station. Though the exterior is very old (15th C), all the facilities inside were tip-top and everything one would expect: spacious room, huge super-comfy bed, wonderful bath, and all the usual things. Breakfast was served from a continental buffet and was quite simply superb of its type with freshly baked breads and rolls. If you wanted fried eggs and bacon, you could get it! Excellent coffee - as standard! Probably the best 'continental breakfast' I've had. We dined in the hotel restaurant one night: traditional Swiss menu and local wine. The service from the receptionist was first-class: she was exceptionally helpful in sorting out a USB charger. Excellence is normal here.
Hotel De la Paix is located in the heart of Lucerne, near the lion monument, at the entrance of the old quarter and 656 feet from the famous Vierwaldstätter lake.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and hotel centrally located.
In short - everything! The hotel is family run (now the fourth generation) and I was made very welcome and helped as much as possible. I was lent a Swiss electrical adapter at no cost. Could not sample the hotel restaurant as it was closed on a Monday night but there are good options within a few minutes walk. Would definitely use this hotel again!
This is a really charming 4th generation family run hotel. From the moment I walked in the door I could tell that this was an extremely well run establishment. Smiling friendly staff who could not do enough. The rooms are comfortable. The homemade Bircher muesli is worth making a trip for itself. Thanks for a really nice stay
Lovely hotel near Lucerne, the manager and staff couldn't be more helpful and were very friendly and accommodating.
Room was very spacious and comfortable.
Dinner and breakfast was very nice and we were well looked after during our stay there.
Small room but well set up - retrofitted bathroom was surprisingly extremely functional. Good location 2 min walk to Malters station from which 10 mins by train to the centre of Lucerne. Breakfast standard and fine
The location is convenient for travel into Lucerne by train. Some easy hikes are also possible. The hotel seems to have a long tradition, and there appears to be a common room one can sit in for reading.
