The location was absolutely breathtaking! The host was very helpful, friendly, and had wonderful recommendations for restaurants & sights in the area. I seriously felt like I was waking up in a fairytale, with the music of cowbells surrounding us, the unbelievable view of the mountains directly outside our balcony, and beautiful hiking trails just outside our door. I would absolutely return to this beautiful Magical Hideaway!

We spent 6 nights at Castel Club during a family vacation to Leysin. The apartment was roomy with functional decorations and a stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook dinner every night. The hotel was located a few minutes walk from the town center and a grocery and while we didn’t use any of the facilities, we appreciated the fondue kit they let us borrow.
There is a bunch to do and to see in the vicinity of Leysin.
There is a bunch to do and to see in the vicinity of Leysin. You can take the train and bus to move around. Naturally, if you drive by car you can find a gazillion views and activities within 30 to 60 minutes driving on very good roads.

Nice resort, a bit small, good for beginners, not too busy, cool snow park, relatively affordable (for Swiss standards), almost no drag lifts (in Leysin itself). Unfortunately it was too warm when I was there (February 2020) so the snow was not really good, but other than that it's great for a long weekend.

Booking this accommodation offered great value for its good price and excellent location, conveniently close to supermarkets, restaurants and ski lift, with the added benefit of available parking. The key handover was smooth, and while the place was clean yet old, it matched the advertisement perfectly, making for a reliable and comfortable stay.
The views were exceptional. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was outstanding. Gino, the restaurant owner, was so accommodating. I gave minimal notice that I am vegan, and he very quickly had multiple options (off the menu) for me to try. I would go back even just for the restaurant.
The room was a typical wood chalet interior which I expected in a mountain village. Room was clean and comfortable with expected bathroom facilities. The views are spectacular. Breakfast was wide ranging for a hotel of this standard. I would definitely be happy to stay there again.
