Prime location in Davos, short way to skiing and shopping. Nice old styled chalet, plain but charming rooms. Very well runned family business

Klosters Serneus is a very nice village with a direct connection to the ski area of Klosters Serneus. The slopes are well prepared, the ski lifts are modern and fast, and the slopes are wide. It is not the place for Austrian style apres ski. This resort is more US style, up market and relaxed.

Even though in Saas, the hotel is very well located: 12 minutes away by car from Parsenn gondola in Klosters and even closer to Madrisa. Further, the building is right next to a bus stop, so anyone wanting to use public transport will be quickly on their way. The train station is few minutes away too. The room I was staying in was spacious, clean and featured georgeous view of the valley from a quiet balcony. There is ample parking available on site for 10 CHF per night.
We got a very huge flat (2 bedrooms) for a very cheap cost. Of course it is an old hotel, forniture was old, but it was clean. Bathroom was fine, the bathtub seemed new, towels were new and soft. It was cold, but there were 2 electrical heaters. Given the price, it was fine. In the sitting room there was a huge TV screen, my son loved it. We paid extra for the breakfast but maybe this was not worth it.
+ Very nice hotel
+ Nice spa and pool
+ Very friendly staff
+ Our little kids were very welcomed and beds provided for multiple kids
+ We rented the lovely little chalet with chimney
+ Great pizza and really good Gulasch soup
+ Clean and all amenities
Very nice buffet. They were very accommodating for people with a gluten allergy. Staff, especially George were super kind and welcoming. Best service at a hotel. The steam room and sauna was also really nice to use after a long day after skiing
