Breakfast was fantastic. Setting was very nice - rural/suburban with a great view of the lake. Lake, beach, and dock is about a 2 block downhill walk. Nice restaurant at the hotel, a few other small restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. Drive into Thun was also quick and easy - like 5 minutes.

The lakeside location and view and garden areas are all wonderful. Interior of the hotel is also nice overall. The room was small but serviceable. Front desk staff were attentive overall.

A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

Just a really wonderful place to stay. historic castle hotel with a wonderful restaurant. Ate dinner and breakfast here and it was really just perfect. A wonderful time all around.
