Well flew into Zurich Airport and stayed at budget hotel, ideal for traveling around . Lots to discover when in Zurich city. You have to play your day also get a tram pass for your stay. You can hope on and off a points and places you would like visit. Visiting the old city Zurich was highlight. Tram drive down to the main hub was very nice as you went pass all different buildings. Lots to see and eat, also if you are looking for history old buildings old footpaths through the old city was great. You have to be fit. As a tourist I will be heading back. Would like to spend more time walking around the churches and find all the hidden gems in it. Enjoyed the festival that w as in the old part, main squre was great pipe bands and drummers🎉🏆

Ibis Budget hotel was nowhere near the hotel for walking.
Ibis Budget hotel was nowhere near the hotel for walking. Taxi was 17 Swiss Francs and it wasn't until daylight that the tram was best option. Do take a tram (and get on the correct one) into Zurich proper and wander around - we found a lovely cafe called Raffael's that I would highly recommend.

Not a great part of lyric to stay in if you're just there overnight. Yes, it's relatively close to the airport, but not close enough to walk there. And, it's a little bit Shady at night. There is prostitution visible on the streets.

The customer service answers quickly we called mostly every day to ask silly questions and they answered, the room is small but perfect for the couples, bathroom’s door was transparent so u must have an ultimate relationship with ur partner 😆but everything was perfect. The location is far from the center but just right next to train station it takes seconds to walk for it , we had a car but we used the train twice and it was coming frequently and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the center u want even feel it , i found it very comfortable and cozy and perfect for its price it has supermarkets and restaurants near by and open for late hours which was perfect for us when we come home hungry, i totally recommend it

We really didn't spend any time here other than staying at the hotel. It's about a half hour tram ride into the centre of Zurich from here, and two stops to Kloten airport. It's a light industry area with lots of office buildings but no shops or residences so very quiet on the weekends and after 5pm.

The place is fantastic, Here is a budget hotel ; Vision Apartment ,but their services and facilities like a five star hotel,Groceries shops are just within the walking distances, distance to and from the city and the airport Is so close . Train station is just in front of the hotel

We enjoyed our Stay at Gate Hotel Zurich. If you want a stay near the airport this is a great place. The two brothers who work at the hotel (run the hotel) are very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The windows and the noise reduction is amazing. We hadn't noticed how loud the planes are that fly over this hotel and we slept perfectly. The next day we went on to the balcony, heard the planes and we were impressed by the high quality windows and other steps taking from keeping the noise out of the apartment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip in Zurich we loved that the airport was nearby and the main city by the tram. The hotel was so lovely and decent for my family the staff were sooo AMAZING they helped so much. Especially Ishak! Honestly will come back again if I do stay in Zurich and recommend the hotel!
Room is hotel quality, clean and modern; self checkin is easy. Host was responsive via web communications. Good location with shortcut 2 minutes access to a direct train/tram and bus station and that's only 10 minutes from Zurich centre station by train; there are major supermarkets and shops around.
The hotel is situated right next to the tram station and is conveniently located at the Zurich Airport. There was a large supermarket, cafes, and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel.
