Booking the Anker hotel is one of the best decisions we made this trip.
The location is good, only 10 minutes walk from the main train station, major city landmarks are also walkable distance. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, the front desk can give you some advice on travel plans. The room is clean, the hotel prepared some warm tips and supplies you will find out when you arrive.
The hotel restaurant is popular, it has good taste of wines. Breakfast at the restaurant carries variety selections of high quality food.
We had good rest and enjoyable moments at the hotel, the Anker is highly recommended.

Location, location, location!
Central for everything you need and all sights within walking/ tram distance
Lovely breakfast and the vouchers for 18.5 CHF nearly covered the cost.
Room a little small but we had a balcony looking toward the river - lovely bathroom
Driving into Lucerne is not easy - miss your turning and you have to go miles out of your way to get back.
The instructions for parking were not clear and it would have been helpful to have received a map with the confirmation email.

Did plenty & strongly recommend the golden route to Mount Pilates - get the tram 1st & save the boat for the return journey
