The hotel is located in the heart of nature, surrounded by a beautiful view of the mountains and a "million-star" view of the sky. There is a nice terrace where you can enjoy the view during the day and look at the sky at night. The hotel is a bit old and has a musty smell, but many parts have been renovated, and it is overall well maintained. In the pictures, it looked better, but it was still clean with an amazing view from the balcony.
The breakfast was simple but had everything you needed, it was good, and everything was fresh. The jams, juices, croissants, and bread were delicious. The dinner exceeded my expectations, the taste of the food was excellent! I suggest you book both, the breakfast and dinner as there is nowhere else to eat:)
The staff was very nice and polite.
One of the advantages of this hotel was the private sauna room, which could be reserved just for you, though you had to book it in advance at the reception. However, there were available time slots. There are several trails around, you can walk to the small artificial lake, which has a nice view. You can also hike up to Portes du Soleil, which was a very nice hike with breathtaking views and very few people.
Opened in 1896 and renovated in 2015, Hôtel National Resort & Spa is located in the heart of the mountain village of Champéry in the Valais Alps.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Attention to detail was impeccable. We requested an early check in (3 hours early) with only 30 mins notice and they said yes straight away. We got there and they came straight out to help with luggage and then parked our car for us. Complimentary welcome drinks in the conservatory over looking the mountains.
The suite was absolutely stunning. 3 balconies with gorgeous views. We stayed with our 3 children (16,15 & 11) so they made 3 beds up in the living area. Children all said their beds were really comfortable, as was ours. All the amenities you would need, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser etc.
We had a Christmas tree in the room which made it feel like home from home. The most perfect place to stop at Christmas.
The breakfast was great. Hot & cold options. Everything freshly made and lots of choices. We were the only family of 5 staying there, and there was a table set up for us each morning which was a nice touch. No need to pull chairs around and squeeze in etc.
Lovely little touches everywhere, Christmas cookies each morning. A present (a huge stunning candle) on Christmas Day with a lovely hand written note.
The spa was gorgeous. Always nice and quiet in there. Sauna/ steam room, jacuzzi pool and outdoor heated pool and more. We all enjoyed it. Children loved going in the pools. I loved being able to call the bar upstairs and order a glass of champagne whilst relaxing on a sun longer.
Great position with many restaurants & bars within walking distance. The hotel recommended a few places and booked us tables etc.
We booked skiing and lessons through Experience Champéry which was recommended by the hotel. It’s opposite the hotel so it was easy to pop in and confirm my booking. They also gave me a discount code for 20% of ski rentals from the Berra shop just a few doors down.
I would 100% recommend this hotel for couples or families.
Boutique Hotel Beau-Séjour & Spa Superior is located about 400 metres from the cable car in Champery amid the Portes du Soleil ski region. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The town is very small so it's very easy to get around. The town itself is very nice and clean, there are lots of flowers. The views are stunning. The hotel guests are provided with passes allowing to use the cable cars to go up the mountains for hiking or just walking. The same passes also provide free access to the town swimming pool.

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in Portes-du-Soleil. The ski resort is huge. We were able to never do the same run and lift three days in a row. Champery is a historic Suisse alpine village with nicely presented shops, bars and restaurants. Expect to spend approx +30% in Switzerland on everything - especially food. Be prepared that some shops take only cash and impose any cash withdrawal fees on you.

Champery is a quiet, pretty little Swiss village on the edge of a stunning ski area. There is ample choice of small restaurants in the village and once you are up the mountain (via chairlift or telepherique) you have access to one of the largest lifted ski areas in the world.
If the snow is not great, there is actually very little to do in the village in winter, so keep that in mind.

It was so cosy, also in the heart of Champery town. The hosts was very helpful from the moment we arrived till the time we left. Charming little appartment, with all facilities available to you. In the kitchen there are all the cutlery, cups, pans - anything you need. We loved the quiet atmosphere, it was a pure bliss to stay there! ❤️
Best location in Champery. A few meters from the train station and a few meters from the godonla. Can be on the slopes within 10 minutes of leaving the apartment. Next to ski renting shops and Coop (grocery store). Train ride is easy from Geneva airport.
Big kitchen, well equipped.
The hotel is right in the centre of town with a beautiful view of the mountains and an amazing small spa. Breakfast was good and as a bonus the place is dog friendly
