Location in front of lake beautiful. The area is central n a bit touristy therefore a little noisy due to pedestrian traffic. We were on the first floor, higher floor may be better.

The Pestalozzi Hotel was conveniently located near the center of Lugano. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern and very comfortable. The breakfast had many choices and was very good. I would recommend this hotel highly to travelers.

Owners and the staff were very nice people.
A lovely suburb but a bit lacking in food shops. We didn't mind that but some might. Good bus service and even a boat service, though that's expensive. Some access to the lake shore and easy access to the olive path to Gandria.
Lugano itself has something special about it.
It's expensive, like the rest of Switzerland.
