The most idyllic location imaginable. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The facilities, including free sup & bike use, were excellent. The owners showed the utmost hospitality during the absolutely divine breakfast. The best hotel I’ve stayed at, perfect in every way.
The Hotel Acquarello is located in the Old Town of Lugano, right at the lower terminus of the funicular connecting the centre to the main railway station.

A great hotel offering wonderful views of the lake , very well appointed rooms and comfortable beds .an excellent buffet breakfast , a fantastic cocktail bar ( Havana Deck) with stunning views of the lake and surrounding area and the most friendly, welcoming and top notch customer service ! We would certainly recommend the lake view suites !!

The crew was fantastic but the boss Julie was above and beyond, she was a more than perfect host. Quick service. I can tell that she runs the hotel with her heart and soul. I highly recommend the hotel 😊. Assem

Great spot not far from the Italian boarder and make sure to go into Brusino Arsizio there are a couple small parks and you also have very nice swimming areas as well and small cafe and restraints. Make sure to go across to Morcote and there is a small 2 hour free parking with disc before the park house which is great if not wanting to stay longer.

Nice little private 'beach' just across the road from the hotel where we could swim in the lake. parking right outside for the motorbike. The hotel very clean, beds comfortable, breakfast great, price reasonable. A little walk into the village but there is a nice walkway by the sea with a great bar on the beach with cocktails and food. Then a short walk to the rest of the village.

The breakfast was excellent, with great variety. The staff gave us baked goods to go every morning. The hotel is located in the center of the charming village, with spectacular views of Lake Lugano from the breakfast area and lake view side of the hotel. Great wifi in our room.
Many things about the hotel are quite all right. We are very thankful for the hospitality of the staff. The price is exorbitant for such a Spartan room, but that is the reality to put up with.
