Great location, awesome and friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel sits right on the exit of Zernez, basically at the door of the National Park, is easily reached on foot from the train station (or the nearest bus stop, less than a hundred meters away) or by car (ample parking space available).
As for the restaurant, everything we had was delicious.
The Historic Hotel Crusch Alva was built around 1500 on the main square of Zuoz and is a member of the Swiss Historic Hotels.

Located in the heart of Zuoz, a very nice historic hotel. The room is a bit old but very comfy with traditional Swiss decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We showed up to the property via organized car from the hotel and were extremely impressed immediately by the service. The hotel itself exudes luxury yet so cozy with fires going. We have two young kids that were so happy with the cozy nook they had in our room with their own beds. We were on a 3 week vacation in Italy and Switzerland and had the best meals here.
The owners of the hotel the very warm people they're very caring we felt that we have two parents taking care of us.... I came at midnight in the train 15 minutes away from the hotel and the owner came with the car to pick me up
