I absolutely adore Winnipeg! This hidden gem is truly unique, offering countless points of interest that make it stand out. The city is a testament to Manitoba's rich and distinctive culture, developed in the heart of the Canadian Prairies. The people of Manitoba are incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely engaging—both interesting and interested. Winnipeg is a city full of charm and character, and it deserves to be discovered and celebrated!

The only reason most people go to Winnipeg is because they have family there. I was no different. But it has a few great things and in the short time that I was there, I saw all of them. Go to Assiniboine Park, go to the art gallery and check out the new displays, go check out Osborne village and downtown. If you’re feeling brave, go after dark!
I’m sure there was more to see but I used to live there so for me a quick trip was more than enough.

The city is walkable and the bus system is good and easy to use. Museums are great and the Assiniboine park is wonderful. The north end is very poor and in dire need of help for the homeless and some infrastructure work.

the person at front desk was friendly and the room was very comfortable.
We got to the hotel early and they had no problem checking us in.
Never had breakfast at the hotel, but had supper the night we checked in.
We stay here several times a year. in fact we have a few more nights booked between now and
early 2025. We love this hotel and we stay here every time we come into Winnipeg.
Whenever we are planning a trip to the city, we do not even think about where we are going to sstay.
The PARK WEST INN, is always a must.
This new, clean hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The hotel is near main roads so you can easily get around Winnipeg with a car. Hotel had lots of parking, was near big box stores and groceries, had blackout curtains that work, comfy beds, good coffee and lots of choice for breakfast, pool and workout room were busy but clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Being able to borrow a bicycle and a helmet to go explore nearby Assiniboine Wood and Park was a bonus.
We drive from Calgary to Winnipeg and they let us check in one hour early(no charge)and The bed is very comfy and smells great, same with the room no odd smell.also, the parking is pretty safe too,the hotel’s location is very close to university of Manitoba, restaurants, groceries and fast food.we loved it.we will definitely come back here and recommend this hotel to our friends who plans to visit Winnipeg.
Great customer service! My original room's Air condition wasn't working properly. Debbie, the hotel Manager, went above and beyond to help me accommodate and was able to get me a different room which happened to be a master suite. I've made the right choice in staying at this hotel on my monthly visit to Winnipeg.
Beautiful historic hotel with ornate decor. The room was clean and comfortable and staff genuinely friendly and helpful. Location excellent for accessing downtown locations and amenities.
