Had a car breakdown on holiday. Called the hotel to let them know I wasn't going to be able to make it. Asked if there was a reduced charge by chance. Her response was, no charge at all. We can't charge people who have had their car breakdown. They didn't have to do that, but they did and when I make my tour through B.C. again, I will be stopping here.

The front desk clerk was very polite and accommodating. Nicely upgraded decor, since our last visit a few years ago.
The bartender in the lounge was friendly and helpful with our cocktail selections in the afternoon, and remembered 6s when we returned in the evening fir a nightcap! Great, relaxing patio vibe, with fire tables.

I had been to Rossland for skiing, but had never been to Trail. I liked it as it is a blue collar town with sights to see. The walkway over the Columbia is great as was the museum. Who would have know that in 1910 that Trail had a championship women's hockey team? Had an excellent Italian dinner at Pinos. It is just a nice area and it was pleasant to not be in a TOTALLY DOMINATED tourist town such as my residence in Idaho.

I have enjoyed Trail in previous years.
I have enjoyed Trail in previous years. It has a lot of history and the view from the top of the old town is spectacular.
The downtown is a bit of a mess. Many empty storefronts and many street people who, by all appearances, are drug addicted. I wasn't afraid to walk but it was noticeable.
My favourite place to eat is Kootenay Kebab on Eldorado Street. Delicious food and wonderful people.
It's always nice to shop at Ferraro Food store. Their selection of everything exotic is amazing!

Trail is a great small town with a decent size river flowing thru it. The people e there are very friendly too. We were looking for a non franchise coffee shop and were guided to a location right next to the river. It was beautiful spot that we would have missed ourselves had it not been for a passerby hearing us talk about getting a decent morning coffee. and

Trail is a small community on the Columbia River.
Trail is a small community on the Columbia River. A great spot for the outdoor enthusiasts with many opportunities including kayaking, fishing, hiking and golf.
Great restaurants (the colander, lil-T cafe, and a wonderful downtown coffee shops, The Bridge View Cafe&Trail Coffee Co.) that are not chain/franchise-type. Hot weather so recommend finding places to cool off with a swim.

Beutifully renovated hotel and rooms. Rooms were so spacious and they accommodated us with our 85lbs Husky.
Due to the new covid restrictions, they only had breakfast in a bag but it was enough to get us started.
We had drinks at the launch while the kids were upstairs with the dog. The location is fabolous, next to the river walk.
The property is excellently situated for the amenities in Trail. It is comfortable and clean and perfect for a stay in trail and great value for money The Host is very helpful and accommodating.
