We arrived very l ate to the motel the staff had left but were very accommodating and left our keys in a safe place for us. It was perfect for where we needed to be as we were going whale watching. Carnt feedback on the breakfast etc as we didnt stay for it.

The access to the St. Lawrence River and the whales and seals that inhabit it. The boat ride to spot whales was a little too wet for me…soaking to be precise. However, it did provide some lovely whale sightings. The personnel were helpful and informative, but were sometimes too under time pressure…how do you provide detailed explanations in two languages and keep the material engaging as well as relevant and informative? Good job though!

Lovely little town with plenty of opportunities for whale watching, both from shore and on guided boat trips. Very picturesque harbour area, excellent whale museum (well worth a visit), and great restaurants and cafes. We stayed for 3 nights and saw plenty.

you can't park anywhere without paying and it is not cheap at $CAD 5 / hour,
overall we had a great time as it is a nice little town in middle of nowhere - was brilliant for us and nice change from big cities.

We only spent one night in Tadoussac, and that was definitely too short. The town lies on the confluence of the Saguenay fjord with the great St. Lawrence river. There is a quality of light to the place. Walk along the beach, then take a walk around the Pointe d'Islet (in both directions). If you are lucky you might see whales (we were unlucky). Definitely visit the whale museum which houses whale skeletons. It sounds a bit morbid but in fact the exhibit is modern and very good. The staff, who are also researchers, are very enthusiastic and bring their subject to life. Plenty of restaurants. Next time we will stay longer and chill.

It is an old hotel with lots of charm. The large salon facing the St-Lawrence river and the chairs on the lawn are both inviting and relaxing.
There was a singer at the bar who made the evenings very enjoyable!
There are no refrigerators in the rooms though.

Tadoussac is a wonderful place.
Tadoussac is a wonderful place. The landscape is fantastically beautiful. The history of the area is fascinating. The local people are friendly and welcoming. In spite of the large amounts of tourism in the area Parks Canada does a wonderful job of keeping the wilderness preserved and the native flora and fauna intact. Seeing whales and other marine life in an unspoiled wild environment is a truly special and beautiful experience.
The location is scenic. Tennis court and a pool with a bay view is a nice touch. We were lucky to stay there during a very warm and sunny weather! Breakfast buffet was really solid - a good amount and variety of food and dishes to choose from, like fruits & veggies, sausages, eggs, potatoes, yougurt, cornflakes, buns, toasts, jam. The restaurant itself was clean, and the staff was friendly!
Would love to come back to that hotel sometime in the future.
Although the B and B is located on a sizeable hill, we were easily able to do a lot of walking and hiking thoughout the town each day to see nature (including the whales), whale interpretation center, and to go to the local restaurants. We used our vehicle once to access the Point Noir Lookout on the opposite side of the Saguenay Fjord.

Although we read reviews that complained about the noise from the trucks going to the ferry we heard nothing that disturbed our sleep.
For the price this hotel is an excellent value and the money we saved went to a nice dinner each evening.
Very nice and cozy hotel to discover Tadoussac. Rooms are small but charming. We really enjoyed a fireplace video upon our arrival. It was really great to take a cup of coffee in the shared kitchen and enjoy a sunny morning in a hotel garden with a view on the bay.
