Stay at the SWIS, located at the foot of Beacon Ave, on the doorstep of Sidney's Waterfront walkway and glass beach.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, room could use a little TLC although it was clean, would stay again but on the sea side. We did not choose that option as we arrived late and left in morning for airport. Location was great for restaurants, shops etc and went for a nice walk along the waterfront and pier.

We only spent one day in Sidney, BC. Brunch at Five & Dime, great food, very friendly servers, clean place. Visited John Dean Provincial Park, the trails were well marked and full of all kinds of mushrooms, very fun and interesting. Had coffee at The Serious Cafe, good coffee. Walked to Lochside Waterfront Park, didn't get to see much stores since most of them were closed at 5pm. Visited DGD Gift store, small store with a good collection of gifts. The part of Sidney we saw is clean, peaceful and safe.

Sidney is just a delightful town with a lovely shoreline and easy walking areas. The Beacon Inn is a perfect accommodation for staying in Sidney. It’s warm, friendly and so comfortable as a destination. Great restaurants and breweries are about the town and we enjoyed them tremendously. We will certainly visit again but stay longer to relax and enjoy more of its’ amenities and natural surroundings.

I love walking around Sydney, boutiques, beaches and restaurants. The closeness to the Airport and Ferry terminal is a bonus. Sunday night things close early or are not open just so you know. We ate at the Bistro Restaurant and it was excellent.

It was a relaxing place to stay while we got settled in to our new home in Sidney. I didn't have time to experience all the wonderful things about Sidney but now that I live here it will be fantastic place to explore. We often drove to Sidney from Duncan just to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Sidney. This is why when we downsized we moved here and have a place overlooking the water. Beautiful in deed!!!

The room was absolutely spotless. I wish my house were that clean!!! Our host greeted us, guided us to a reserved parking spot and then gave us a thorough explanation of what we needed to know - wifi, keys, lights, etc. There was a little electric fireplace that gave off surprisingly good heat. The table was set for two, waiting for us when we arrived. It was those nice little touches that made the stay extra special. We were walking distance from the sea and the main street of Sidney. Wonderful location.
The location suited us very well as it was close to everything in Sidney and we wanted to visit the Butchart Gardens. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bath was lovely and the shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast provided was plentiful though there was no choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on-site parking was very handy and it was close to shops and restaurants. We would very happily stay there again.
Handy location in downtown Sidney, so about 10 minutes from the airport. Free parking, close walk to the oceanfront and grocery store. Very very clean, lots of pillows, nice bedding, comfortable beds. Decent spread for simple breakfast on the go. Very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent value for money spent (a room at the hotel across the street would have been double the cost of our room).
Nice simple property ideal for a night or two. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, everything worked and all the staff we met were lovely. The continental breakfast was basic but fine for a coffee, cereal, waffle and juice. The location is perfect for hopping on the highway out of Sidney or enjoying the bars & restaurants that Sidney has to offer. For a budget hotel this ticks all the boxes.
The Cedarwood Inn was a good, affordable choice for a hotel stay near Victoria airport. We arrived by a taxi in less than 10 minutes. The Inn left our key in an envelope at the office which made a late arrival so easy. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and we left early before the office opened.
