We didn’t have high expectations as we’d read mixed reviews but we really came to enjoy the lake and it was worth the stay for that reason alone. The lake is small but beautiful and so peaceful. We spent most of our visit swimming and kayaking.
Make sure to stay in the newer rooms that are clean and renovated and have AC. We heard a few guests complaining about the lack of AC in the other building.

We cycled past the Auberge, as there was not a sign on the trail letting us know where it was. We had to cycle back 5 miles to find it. We did not stay. When we arrived we could not get anyone to the front door or side door. Walked around to the back of the property and there were men on the back step gathered there. They were not guests. They did not speak English very well and had difficulty understanding my presence. One of them finally understood and took me up to my room which was not air conditioned and was on the upper floor. In addition, the bathroom was a shared bathroom with the other guests. Neither the lack of AC or non-private bathroom were mentioned on booking.com confirmation. In addition, when I tried to email the proprietor before our stay to get information, the link on booking. com took me to booking . com not to the Inn as it stated. We are more disappointed in booking.com then in the Auberge.

We went picking fresh blueberries as recommended by the owner and had a great time
We spread a day at Mont Tremblant it was near the chalet so less travel on the road to return at night. We enjoy that is was quiet family that reserve the others cabines are very respectful
The spa was very well appreciated.

Very good personal and really at the service of the guest.
This was our second visit and we may very well return for a third time.
The wifi connection is however poor being on vacation it not that big of a deal.
