Sort of a dreary little place. Convenient enough as a get off the highway and rest spot. Absolutely no food nearby. Ordered a very disappointing Uber Eats dinner. Room furnishings and bathroom were all brand new and very clean. (room 6) All in all, a solid five. Would have enjoyed having bottle of water or some actual coffee in my room since you have to go into Langueil to find anything.

The best part of this hotel is the price. It's a steal in the city, but of course, for that you have to adjust your expectations. The hotel is off the beaten path in a very residential neighborhood, but for me, that was part of the appeal. I've been to Montreal numerous times and didn't feel the need to be in the middle of the action. The hotel has free parking, a rarity in the city, but if it's full as it was when I arrived to check in after 11pm, street parking is free and plentiful, just be mindful of the no parking hours and days. It's about a 10 minute drive to the action and an easy, 12 minute bike ride and there's a Bixi bike share stand a block away, and for $1.50CAD, you can get yourself anywhere in the city. Those relying solely on foot may wish to be closer to the action, but Ubers and taxis are plentiful and the neighborhood is pleasantly walkable but there's not much in the way of shops and cafes in the immediate vicinity. I don't think the Metro is close, but it is on a bus route. I had a room on the top floor in the back and it was super quiet and I loved that, especially after coming home late. There's a bike trail behind the hotel that will take you halfway to downtown and there are many protected bike lanes. Montreal is all in on the bike and if the weather allows, you should take advantage. The hotel strives to be contactless so older, less technologically inclined folks like me should prepare in advance and download the Goki app to ensure you'll be able to enter the lobby and your room with no issues. Check your emails after you book and reach out to the hotel before you arrive if you're at all unsure of how to proceed. Staff is very friendly and helpful when they're there, but they go off duty at 11pm for the night and you don't want to be scrambling to find your way in with no help if you arrive late. I'm looking forward to staying here next time I visit.
