We haven't been back in quite a while, and when we returned, we were surprised to see how well maintained and the changes that were made. Kudos to the owners for the upgrades. We booked a double room, and it was perfect for 2 nights. Coffee was prepared, and bread by the toaster in the kitchen. They have prepared diners for a small price upon request. BBQ's at your disposal. Chairs and ottomans outside your room door. An outdoor seating area with a fireplace and wood.

Fantastic hotel built with huge pine loggs and full of trophies from canadian animals. You really have the impression to arrive in a trapper's treasure house.
Very good food for such a remote location, although quite pricey.

The view from the hotel terrace is absolutely stunning. The hiking trails and canoeing on the lake (but take plenty of insect repellent if visiting in the summer as I was eaten alive!). The pool and outdoor jacuzzis. Friendly staff
