Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament.
Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament. We found it easy to get around with plenty of places to dine and shop if you wanted. The central sports facilities are super - something to wish your city had. The only problem - ice plant seemed undersized and did not freeze floods.

Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows.
Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows. Some lovely areas some quite run down. Our family took in the Regina Science Centre. Can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed it. Especially the IMAX documentary. The facility was clean, fun for the entire family and lots of space to roam without feeling overwhelmed by other people. The IMAX film we choose was Wings Over Water. Gorgeous cinematography that the kids truly enjoyed and even my son, daughter and I learned about the wetland birds of the prairies. A great day was had by all. We stayed approx. 3.5 hours.

Breakfast was okay, but I hope the hotel can make accommodations such that the breakfast is vegetarian. Also, except for egg and milk, the breakfast should not contain alcohol or animal products like gelatin in any of its dishes.
The hotel was excellent and I would stay again if I visited Regina again.
The beds were comfortable. The room was fairly clean. Location was convenient for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and other business that we had to conduct. Moxies and Denny's were both conveniently located very close to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Loved the large work counter along with a larger than normal hotel bathroom. The idea of a Kureg as opposed to most small drip coffee makers was nice. Opening windows was a nice added touch. Derfinately will stay again when in Regina.
