Friendly staff. Booked a couple of days ahead of stay. It’s right by the beach and a good place to stay the night before flying out of Halifax. Continuing our laid back holiday rather than using a city hotel. We ate outside in a small area of patio looking along the beach. Bathrooms were good, beds very comfortable. We had two windows looking towards the sea. The other room faced inland. If we hadn’t eaten in we would have gone to the Trellis, where we’ve been on previous visits to NS.

My very first time booking a room and they were very patient ! I was up for an event in area . Stormy winds kept me indoors ! I have to admit I never looked in binder I was so tired I just wanted to lay down! Beautifull restraunt across the street! Great food at a good price! Delightfully pleased with my first solo trip!

We ate at Rhubarb, a sweet bistro, amazing food with a lovely deck, our waitress was great, funny girl🙂, as well as The Finer Diner, great seafood and an amazing view, with a patio to eat outside. The roads are narrow with lots of twists and turns, so slow is good, better to take on the scenery. The Swiss air tragedy commemorative spot is right next door and needs to be taken in a well, humbling..great to see humanity coming together.
This area is a 10 out of 10, highly recommend it!!

Breath taking!
Breath taking! We ate at the Sou'Wester restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. But the customer service was even better. Even though Chloe wore a mask, you could tell she was smiling and had a heart of gold. It made our trip absolutely fantastic.
