Bed was super comfortable, loved the pillows (considering purchasing some). Room was very clean and tidy, hotel was nice and quiet, did not hear any other guests. The text check ins from the front desk were great and helpful when my husband lost his ID and the uber driver returned it to the front desk.

I was really just in and out (quick trip to see the eclipse)...
I was really just in and out (quick trip to see the eclipse). This was a great hotel and one where a person, couple or family could have a mini vacation, with pool, good restaurants on-site, room service, etc. It's also well appointed for conferences (and one would assume for wedding receptions). The Steakhouse would be great for 'special' evenings and the Denny's is very good (service, food, prices) for families.

Oakville is very clean, it has a lot of higher end shopping and restaurants. Well taken care of by the city pu lic works. seems to be more established and settled with long time residents and neighborhoods. Has a smaller city vibe.

Did not see much of Oakville.
Did not see much of Oakville. Was just here for a couple of hockey games. We stayed in the Monte Carlo Inn on the south side near Ford Plant. Not a pleasant location as it was in an industrial area with large decrepit undeveloped industrial property beside us and nothing within walking distance.

I was unhappy that housekeeping is not done everyday or every other day, yet I understand the logic behind this, also we traveled far and was just to be told you guys don't take cash and wouldn't return as I cash is a legal tender and not everyone owns a credit card or has one

We were at a conference during our stay so we didn't get to do much in Oakville. I used to live in Toronto and would visit Oakville frequently, especially downtown on the Lakeshore. I was amazed at all the buildings on Dundas! Next time I plan to visit downtown and some of the restaurants that I remember, if they are still there.
Everything was exceptional from the moment I checked in. Warm and welcoming staff who were able to answer and help me with any questions I had. The cleanliness was impeccable and my room was very well equipped. Would definitely recommend sandman hotels to family and friends and I would definitely stay at this location again.
Overbooked me on New Years Eve. Me and my wife slept in my car . Will never use booking.com ever again. Deleted the app. Hotel or booking support was no help. Took my money days prior and sends it back a week later.
