Located on Highway 10 and less than 1.5 km from the centre of Bridgewater, this Days Inn by Wyndham Bridgewater Conference Center features free Wi-Fi in all areas.
It’s a charming, lovely town, a UNESCO site. A fishing town. Every building is a work of art (except the new ones.). Lots of history. And great seafood.
The Fish Shack was a popular bustling place, outdoor patio overlooking the water.
Take the Seaweed Tour from the waterfront. Nancy the owner is a great storyteller and the two hour tour takes you to several great coastal spots.

We were probably 2 weeks off the start of the tourist season...
We were probably 2 weeks off the start of the tourist season, so Lunenburg itself was VERY quiet. Stores closed by 4pm/5pm and restaurants closed by 8pm. We were THE ONLY people out walking at 8.30pm around the waterfront and within the town. Oven Park was closed, as were many of the other nearby attractions. I would suggest your time your visit around the tourist season. The town itself is absolutely beautiful being a UNESCO site and we really enjoyed walking around a sightseeing. It is a beautiful town. Also, all of the restaurants we ate at were delicious. Salt Shaker Deli & Inn. The South Shore Fish Shack. Dockside Lobster & Seafood Restaurant

Lisa gave up very good touring sites advice. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Recommend this inn very highly to others.

Lunenberg, of course, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but...
Lunenberg, of course, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but there's almost nothing to see here. The downtown is a single street a few blocks long with a couple of mostly-empty side streets. One picture, and you are ready to move on.

Beautiful place. A must see destination.
Beautiful place. A must see destination. We only had one night and should have stayed longer. Lots of places to see. Lots of places to eat but it’s busy with tourists. We went a little off the beaten track away from the sea front and found some less busy eateries.

The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum.
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum. Most of the restaurant served fried foods but we ate at The Lincoln Street Food Store which was very good. We found that the restaurants were expensive for the type of food they offered. To get around in Lunenburg was fairly easy, there are a lot of hills. I think that if we made another trip to Lunenburg we would try to get into the Art Galleries, most were closed when we were there. We would avoid most of the restaurants and try to find one that didn't serve only fried foods.
Lovely B&B. Our large room was beautiful and comfortable. The spa bath was a treat. Breakfast was elegant, generous and delicious. We enjoyed breakfast with other guests but also had privacy. Lovely grounds, walkable to downtown Lunenburg. On-site parking. Use of veranda and living room.
This hotel is very well located and within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Lunenburg. The staff were very responsive to our requests. Free parking across the street was a huge bonus.
