Excellent place to rest, the staff starting with Don are incredible people, very helpful, the place is super clean, I stayed in a tent and it was an incredible experience, they have space to make a campfire, the parking is easy, the bathrooms are always clean and if your plan is to go to the Bruce Peninsula National Park, it is only 20 minutes away...

A group of friends have been hiking the Bruce Trail and we needed a place big enough to accommodate us. It was great to have the hot tub for post-hike relaxation. Beautiful view, beautiful and comfortable spot even in November!

Lion's Head is a beautiful place.
Lion's Head is a beautiful place. I especially enjoyed the Saturday market where vendors sell veggies and art. I saw a little girl so excited when she received a handmade purse, she couldn't wait to fasten it around her waist. I also hiked the Bruce Trail with friends, and we loved the views out over the water.

Lions Head is a great town.
Lions Head is a great town. The Lions Head Loop portion of the Bruce Trail is an amazing hike (But plan to spend a few hours longer than the information online: 8 - 10 hrs for the full loop). We were able to visit the farmers market which was very nice and had lots of treats and other local products (art, jewellery, produce, etc). We were also able to catch the pumpkin throwing event with monster trucks and lawn mower races in nearby Ferndale which was pretty cool. The town itself is also nice to walk around in. The people in the town are very very friendly as well (we under planned the time needed for the hike and got to the end bit when it got really dark but someone who lived there gave us a ride back to our car).
TLDR: Great town, welcoming community, amazing hike (but plan 1-2 hours extra), decent food options as well.

Book your reservations this is definitely a place to stay! And when they say breakfast is at 8 it’s at 8! Today is the day the Lord has made & I will be glad in it! Lions head is a very small town.
Lions head is a very small town. Visited in the early spring, late winter and not much was open. Some trails in the national Park was closed. Cute places to eat in the main area of Lions head but I would strongly suggest visiting during summer when there is more to do.

Maureen and Ed were very accommodating hosts. They made sure that our dietary restrictions were taken into account. Breakfasts were delicious and they also offered very good lunches to pack. They provided local restaurant and hiking information which was very helpful. The B&B is in a very quiet location about 10 minutes from Lions Head. It was very easy to get to our hikes both north and south from there.
Highly recommend the property.
Wonderful Staff. The restaurant was hopping on a Tuesday night and the meals were tasty, hearty and generous. Bathroom was really clean and towels and bath mat really nice and thick, much better than your standard hotel offering.
I was hoping for a chill place as a base for hiking the Bruce trail around Lions Head. We like to cook and bbq, have a fire and a drink. The Cozy Cottage delivers. Will be back again soon.
The guest house is in a good location within Lions Head and is clean and tidy. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped. The host was amicable.
My wife liked it more than I did.
