Days Inn by Wyndham Kelowna, hotel in Kelowna

Days Inn by Wyndham Kelowna is located in Kelowna, only minutes from a variety of outdoor recreational activities. This hotel offers a seasonal outdoor heated pool.

There was ample parking, the room was comfortable. The AC worked, but we had to have it on full during 25 C temps and it kept starting and stopping all night which can disturb some people's sleep (we were fine). The beds were comfy and clean, although the tall man of the group had a sore back after 3 nights. The continental breakfast was good (not great, not terrible). Basic boiled eggs, bacon, cereal, muffins, bread for toast, 2 pancake makers, fruit, tea and coffee. The breakfast room was not large for a big hotel but the weather was good so we ate in the sun on the patio - awesome! The woman working the breakfast room worked REALLY hard to keep it well stocked and was very cheerful and helpful too. The pool was heated and great for a morning stretch (opened at 9 am).

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. From the photos included while I was booking, I had assumed that we were staying at a more dated property. However, you can tell that this hotel is well maintained, and has certainly received some renos in the last couple years to keep it looking fresh and modern. The agents at the front desk were all friendly and prompt whenever we required any assistance, and they made our stay a breeze. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were all comfortable (even the pullout sofas!). The location is absolutely unbeatable - within blocks of the central downtown core, but far enough away to not catch the noise of the main street. All 6 of us who stayed there said we would definitely be returning when we come back to Kelowna, and I would heartily recommend this property to friends and family.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kelowna, hotel in Kelowna

Located 10 minutes’ drive from Kelowna Airport, this family-friendly hotel provides free Wi-Fi. A heated pool with a water slide is open year-round.

Breakfast offerings was a bit above many other similar hotels, including in the US - good variety of choices. Bold coffee was deeply appreciated. Average room but with mini fridge and microwave oven discreetly tucked away. Comfy bed and the window slid open enough to enjoy some much needed real air. This hotel is also placed well, within easy reach of the main road through town, and with a varied selection of restaurants, lounges and stores nearby. Good value generally.

We went to Kelowna for a wedding.

We went to Kelowna for a wedding. Traveling through Kelowna is a chore. You are on the highway, but it has lights everywhere and despite 2-3 lanes, the traffic is busy. The city allowed businesses to come to the highway so it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over 60 minutes to travel from W Kelowna to E Kelowna; poorly designed mayor/council/civil engineers! I'm from Vancouver Island, so all the brown hills are not impressive to me. It was prettier at night. There is a nice board walk "downtown" and a section has been left for native plants/trees. There are marinas and lots of green space. There are tons of vineyards and wineries; the wedding we attended June 2024 was at Off The Grid Organic winery. The views of the lake from up on the hill were lovely. It was a good place for a wedding and was sunny and warm. We also went to Scandia minigolf (FUN) and the Kangaroo Creek Farm which was excellent! Many of the animals are surrender pets and they have lots of trained handlers that gave us tons of information and told us how to touch (or not touch) various animals. They have sugar gliders which are the most adorable creatures. The one we played with leapt from her handler to us and crawled up our shoulder and nuzzled in "spaces". Super cute and a highlight of our stay in Kelowna.

It is a hostel after all.

It is a hostel after all. The staff was incredibly friendly, but the other guests were quite loud, even during the supposedly "quiet hours". If you get a top bunk, there are no outlets to charge your devices. The toilet were ok but the bathroom was horrible: hair around and in the sink and drain, faucet were disgusting and not cleaned.

The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels. Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

Room was very clean. Staff were friendly. Location was great for us: 2 km to downtown area and 3 km to hospital (reason for stay). Lots of restaurants in area and a mall across the street that had a grocery store. Also a convenience store on same block. Parking lot was big and contained a Ricky's Restaurant and a Starbucks. Guests of the hotel get a 10% discount at Ricky's. You can walk or drive to the downtown area easily down Bernard Avenue and see many heritage houses.

The hotel is ok. It's a 80's hotel renewed in the early 2000's. It's nothing out of this world. It's not bad in any sense, but it's not mindblowing. They have a small pool (which I wasn't confident enough to use) and a tinny gym (that needs equipment from this decade). Would I book with them again? If they have a great price per night, sure. Will it be my best memory of Kelowna? No. It was convenient to be across the street from a mall and have many restaurants in the area.

This is undoubtedly one of the best motels that I have ever stayed at, suite 225 was exceptional, plenty of room to move around, the kitchen was well equipped with large fridge, microwave and stove, well maintained BBQ’s that we used, a couple of times, and at night sitting on the balcony with a couple of beers and your cooked BBQ meal was so quiet it was unreal. if I was ever to come back to Kelowna, this is the only place I would stay.

Quick check-in, friendly staff throughout. Nice spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Big tv. Small fridge for your own food/drinks.A small microwave.Pool and hottub are a nice bonus. Breakfast is good enough. Lots of parking. Good central location in Kelowna. There are a couple restaurants and a pub within 10 minutes walk. This is also a pet friendly hotel. I feel this is a good 3 star hotel with 4-5 star ratings.

Good value for the price. I have always stayed here in the past whenever visiting Kelowna. By no means its a 5 star hotel but we greatly enjoy the less, quieter places. Also the pool and jacuzzi are always a great spot to relax and see the view. Close to many amenities and beaches. Rooms and beds are super comfortable.
