The location was good. It was close to restaurants and necessities. The room was clean. The breakfast was ok and the staff at breakfast seemed lovely.
The individual that checked us in did not smile or greet us. He rather seemed put out by our arrival and spent an uncomfortable amount of time looking at my licence. The interaction checking in made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Even though the majority of the experience was pleasant I do not plan to return because of my check in experience.

False advertising. This place looks like a slum in what I didn’t even knew existed as a bad part of town in Huntsville. Please don’t stay here, driving up the blinds and drapes are torn and damaged and falling apart in the windows. There is what looks like an abandoned shack right in front of the motel but it appears there are people inside. This was not a place to stay safe and comfortable with the family.

Close enough to downtown to walk there though it's not a very pleasant walk on the side of the road and some of the way back is uphill. Room was clean. Plenty of towels. Bananas and apples available at the free breakfast. When we accidently locked ourselves out the staff came momentarily to let us in.

We stayed in Huntsville for one night on our way home from a road trip through Ontario. The downtown area near the water is charming with many restaurants and shops to visit. Several of the Group of Seven paintings adorn the buildings in this town. There is a dock by the water downtown, where you can rent kayaks. Several restaurants overlook the river. There is an awesome candy shop "The Nutty Chocolatier" on the main street where you can get ice cream and almost any sweet treat you can think of. The "On the Docks Pub" and "the Mill on Main" as well as "Boston Pizza" are overlooking the river. All within walking distance of each other.

What we like: The space is good enough for 3 of us and the sofa bed is comfy. Breakfast is good but late comers may have less choices.
What we don’t like: It is advertised as equipped with kitchenette but only a microwave is available. We can’t really cook with just a microwave though kitchen utensils and dish washer is provided

A very picturesque town with lovely people everywhere. Lots of shopping options and good dining places. Very close to Algonquin Park and beautiful drives all around.
Our visit was short but we will go back for a longer stay in the fall.

There wasn't anything we disliked about Huntsville.
There wasn't anything we disliked about Huntsville. Our favourite thing to do if not driving around taking in the beautiful scenery is sitting by the water. Especially downtown Huntsville near the bridge (The Town Dock). Lots of activity on the water so fun to watch. There is a place to rent canoes, peddle boats and kayaks.
(We had the pleasure of watching two young men capsize their canoe. All was good. Lots of staff to their rescue and they opted for a peddle boat after that).
Last year we did the Museum and train ride. I would recommend that everyone see this.

This is our annual cross country ski trip.
This is our annual cross country ski trip. We love the amazing trails at Arrowhead, Bondi Villiage, and Limberlost. There's also lots to do in Hunstville - restaurants, hikes, lookouts, etc...we love taking a few days each year to visit.

The comfort inn was comfortable, clean, affordable and ready for us as soon as we came to check in. The staff were presentable and talked with enthusiasm. It was nice to feel welcomed from the time we opened the doors. If we have to stay in Huntsville again, we would come back again.
The room I had was nice, clean, and the TV was a good size. Room was a little tight but maybe due to 2 beds in a smaller space.
Great WiFi strength and all the amenities of microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and toiletries.
Great value for the price. Will definitely book again when in Huntsville for business.
We spent a lovely weekend visiting Algonquin park, Huntsville and surrounded area. The location is very good. The room, the pool and all common areas were very clean. The water in the pool was nice and warm and it was pleasure to relax in it after the day of hiking!
Liked that there was a lot of outdoor space, and it was quiet. The location was between Bracebridge and Huntsville allowing us the variety of shops and restaurants to visit. The park with a hiking trail was close by too.
