I was visiting relatives but I have known Georgetown for mamy years anf it has grown into a well developed community with all the necessary
services and a great variety of good restaurants. THe surrounding areas are easy to access,
The motel was lovely, clean and welcoming. The lovely staff deserve a special mention as they were so polite friendly and accommodating. From our perspective we made a mistake as we were trying to stay in Toronto during a 16 hour flight layover and were taken aback to be in Georgetown. However a couple of beers in Shoeless Joe's and the comfortableness of the rooms overcame our disappointment! I'd be more than happy to stay there if I was actually visiting Georgetown or the surrounding area!
