I was originally going to be here for four nights but unfortunately the WiFi was too slow for me to work here. The - amazing - everything-else outweighs that though if you’re not working while here :) I stayed in the cabin and loved the details, the fireplace, the view (!!), the shower, the bed.. all of it. I had breakfast here and it was also super great, cooked perfectly and clearly good ingredients. (New ownership from what I was told :)) Everyone who worked here was kind and accommodating and they allowed me to cancel after the first night since I couldn’t stay because of the internet. That was very much appreciated! Will be back on a long weekend sans work to stay … and kayak when the weather allows it ✨

The property was very spacious and there were comfortable beds . Juliet and Nassar were really accommodative and gave fantastic hospitality. They gave us extra time to check out and an earlier time for us to drop off our things in the entry room. Thank you Juliet, Nassar, and cleaning crew.

It was a great short vacation as a first timer at the Sunshine coast with my daughter Shania before she start her university. We feel welcomed and safe when we arrived at Martha and Jack’s guest house… We are satisfied with everything, very accommodating couple, very clean room and what I love the most is the quiet nature overlooking lake from our balcony when we wake up in the morning .. we visited all the places in our list with the help of Martha giving us ideas. She’s been serving us with her freshly baked goodies too. Thank you both for your kindness! We are looking forward to see the beauty of winter at the coast and for sure will stay at Jack and Martha’s property !! ❤️ was relaxed and enjoyed!

Good place for families if you do not need any services (eating out etc.) as everything closes by 7pm, and on weekdays many restaurants are not opened. Otherwise nice views but then we have lots elsewhere with more competitive hotel prices.

Very isolated location, closest shopping/dining in Madeira Park, 25 minutes away on very twisty, very dark roads. Pretty lakes and ocean beaches nearby and Provincial Park but not much else. 3-4 days plenty to see all.

Very windy and narrow road, without shoulders and therefore unsuitable for walks. The next grocery store, in Madeira Park, was about 7-8 km away and it seems to close early in the evenings, that is both days it was closed by 7 pm. Better be stocked up.

We weren't expecting to be on/over the water, but what a pleasant surprise 😄
With the marina in front of you,
the view of the harbor is like watching a show of people who live, work, or vacation at Garden Bay, and you realize you could watch this show every day.
We stayed in Prawn Palace.
Awesome little resort in Garden Bay. We’ve stayed multiple times and are usually with another couple, 4 people total, and get a cabin with a private hot tub. Very quiet, picturesque, well-kept grounds. Beautiful views. Nice to have full cooking capabilities.
Cabins were very well maintained, clean and well equipped. Fantastic location on Garden Bay. Would love to visit a bit longer during the summer as the waterfront location looks like it would be very relaxing.
Every corner is clean and tidy, and I think it was a great place to bring women and children. A detailed explanation of the equipment used was also helpful. It felt like staying in a hotel.
