Fredericton is a very historical old city (1784). Many beautifully preserved homes from the troubled period of the American revolution. Most of the population today are descendant of Loyalist stock, a large royal heritage in its building permeates the city, leafy avenues, a large Cathedral modelled on Exeter, UK. The world famous Beaverbrook Art Museum, the beautiful St-John River, many good restaurants. A very walkable city. So much on offer.

Walking tour of the Garrison area was very nice.
Walking tour of the Garrison area was very nice. Visitor Info was hard to find.
Heads up Fredericton and all Eastern Canada ..... Put some money into installing road and street name signs (both of them) on DIAGONAL street corners throughout the entire city.
No street names, or the one located directly above your head that you CANNOT see from your car - as you're watching lights, pedestrians, traffic and GPS in unfamiliar territory.

We were only passing through on our way to North Sydney, NS, and ultimately to Newfoundland.
We had visited, and stayed in, Fredericton back in 2009, when we really enjoyed our time there. Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick (since 1785), so there are a lot of historical places, museums, parks and other interesting things to see there. It is also where you will find the Reversing Falls Rapids on the St. John River.

A university town with the standard flights of traffic, students stepping into traffic, loud music, and average food in the Greek restaurant we chose. Lots of interesting shops and activities in which to participate.

Total waste of money!
Total waste of money! We booked five rooms for one night and stayed only 7-8 hours. Our experience was far less pleasant than the expectations. All rooms were full of mosquitoes, floor tiles were broken, toilets flush didn’t work.

My parents, FIL, and I traveled from Ontario to NB for my elopement. Check-in was delayed due to the hotel being sold out the night before. Ryan Campbell and Tristan made our stay and elopement day super easy and lovely. We were able to set up the Studio room for the ceremony just in time, as they gave us an extra hour to set up. This made my husband's and my day less stressful, we were able to take our time to get dressed and get ready.
Thank you very much, Ryan and Tristan.
The room I stayed at was quite clean; the staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was air conditioning (something apparently not that common in New Brunswick). It is far from the city centre, which has some advantages. For those who like waling or cycling, the trail bridge that links to the downtown is close by.
The beds were super comfortable. The morning breakfast was very good. The coffee especially!
The hotel staff were very attentive and polite. Also the in room amenities were good.
Everything was perfect! The service was impeccable, the room was very clean and we had breakfast included in the stay. Very nice place well located to visit Fredericton.
our room was super spacious, 3 queen beds, 2 separate rooms. Location is a close drive to things in Fredericton. Good value for the money. Beds were very comfortable
