Weather wasn’t the best, and we were there off season but good central location to see other areas like Gros Morne National Park. Was easy to get around there. Would spend more time next time - only stayed 2 nights.

Most of our itinerary was in other places .
Most of our itinerary was in other places . We found it to be a good location after a long ferry ride and 2.5 hour drive. We were able to drive to bottle cove the following morning then up to Rocky Harbour. I have stayed I. C oh rnerbrook before and enjoyed the amenities , easy to find food ,shopping and gas.

I loved Corner Brook, lots to do especially shopping.
I loved Corner Brook, lots to do especially shopping. I found it very easy to get around the town and the exit and entrance to the highway very close by. Gas stations are nearby also. I ate out at Jungle Jim's, Pizza Hunt, Subway and New China restaurant.I also visit Gros Morne , Lots of beautiful scenery there!!!! Visit Deer Lake lots of nice scenery there also. Very calm and peaceful in the areas that I visit. Loved the ocean views coming of the ferry from PAB. The Tourist Information Center was an excellent help and staff very friendly. Bathrooms very clean in the building. There's nothing to avoid there during my stay in NFLD. LOVED THE PLACES AND EXCELLENT VIEWS!! THANK YOU NFLD!!!!

I arrived early and they made it possible for me to get in my room and rest since I had not slept well on the ferry from North Sydney to Port aux Basques. While the surrounding area is somewhat industrial, the place is very quiet and Corner Brook being a small town, it is very easy to find anything within a short drive.
There are two rooms, one is a bedroom and the other a kitchen, very convenient. The couch looks like it could become a bed, but I didn't check that out. In the bedroom, two beds, one twin and one single.
The room was big with two queen beds. It was comfortable and clean. The shower was accessible. Dinner in the restaurant was enjoyable and gluten free was on offer. Breakfast was good. The hotel had a laundry for guests - very useful when moving from place to place. Hotel ideally placed for walking round the interesting town. Car park available for patrons.
