Very clean and cozy. The staff are very friendly and acvommodating. The rooms are big. The bathroom is clean. The room has fridge, coffee maker & microwave oven. What I like is the sink is outside the bath/toilet which makes it conveniet to use while someone is having shower. The room is so spacious.

Beautiful lake and amenities. Just visiting parents this time. No time for sightseeing. Air show at the base is always a must do for the whole family. Variety of restaurants from fast food to fine dining at Sawmill.

Cold Lake is a beautiful place with a huge lake (as the name suggests). So all the beach and lake activities are plentiful. There is also great camping spots. A few hidden gems, like Mamacitas Mexican restaurant, are definitely worth a stop. The Air Force base (CFB Cold Lake) is also a great spot to get a close view of jets taking off and landing, as well as getting an in depth view of the local history at their museum.

Walking around the wharf and seeing the lake and the many boats
that were docked. Also the beautiful drive along the lake. Very neat
city, lots of flowers and the murals on buildings makes it inviting.
Our stay was to short but we would come again and stay longer. We had supper at Asian smorg. The food and service was great.

I had no idea Cold Lake was so nice.
I had no idea Cold Lake was so nice. The beach was amazingly unexpected. Lots of room to set yourself up without feeling overcrowded. The provincial park also had a nice swimming hole and a ton of hiking/biking trails. The marina was the area where we stayed and to walk around it and watch the sail boats was a very relaxing time.
The food was awesome. We ate at Fresh Fusion Bistro. It was very good and portions were huge. The menu had a bit of everything. It was so well decorated and unique it was hard to believe we were still in Cold Lake. The second night we ate at Clarke’s Eatery. Completely different atmosphere but equally delicious.
At first I thought Cold Lake was a compromise, staying more local during the current situation and lack of vacation destinations, but we were very satisfied and will add it to our regular getaway spots. If you like boating and biking and laziness on a beautiful beach, you might too.

There no longer was a breakfast included which was not indicated when I was searching for places online. I booked though booking.com and I searched through a number of different sites that all said breakfast was included. Please note that I did not go to the actual website for the hotel. But I still feel that they should be reflecting online correct information.
Worst break fast ever , u guys at booking.com are thieves , i booked a room from ur website and gave me a different one , breakfast was not excitable at all cuz it wasn’t like any other hotels we had to pay 20$ to get breakfast
