Loved the location and the fact that it’s in a historical village, no cars . The restaurant for evening meals and breakfast were good and there , if you wanted, a bistro for lunchtime. Could watch the magnificent waterfall all day and the views from the top of the cable car fantastic.

The young French couple at reception when we arrived went above and beyond to help us with a minor medical issue. We are so grateful for their patience and kindness. We loved being able to make our meals in the common kitchen, and thoroughly enjoyed eating outside in the extensive garden. It's a lovely bnb accommodation looking into the lake from the other side of the road. The hostess is very kind, warm, friendly and caring, trying the best to talk to us through Google translator even though not speaking much English. The massive basement is well equipped with bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, TV, massage chair and table, etc. Beddings are very comfortable, breakfast is made by order & yummy, price is very reasonable. Great value for money, highly recommend.

We stayed at Chambord when we cycled the veloroute au bluettes. The accommodation was good but access to food was 3km away. Luckily we had a car with us and could go get the makings for a spaghetti dinner.
Loved the location and access to the beach, the comfortable, spacious and well equiped 2 bed-appartment. Loved the cakes available everyday for purchase and the on site restaurant (thursday to saturday dinner only) offers delicious food. Close to touristic attractions and chambord, the closest town has all shopping stores needed.
