The property was clean and had all the facilities. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The washroom had hot water all the time. There was wood for fire, kayak and life jackets. The view was excellent and the big yard for kids to play. We had a great time with the family.

The apartment is clean, the owner left a lovely gift basket and the bathrobes were a nice touch. The location is good and I would consider returning in the summer to take advantage of the water activities.

Beautifully renovated and decorated space completely separate from main house. Entire property was lovely. Pictures depict what it is actually like. Well stocked with great towels and a nice bbq, which we used, on the back porch which has a nice sitting area. Loved that we were very close to PEC (an easy drive) but in a quiet area. Karine and her husband Norm are wonderful hosts, from beginning to end. Karine was helpful with the tv setup. She has a real flare for decorating. The place was beautiful! We would highly recommend for two couples and will tell friends!

The hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. We were leaving cottage country and spent the afternoon wine tasting in Prince Edward County. This place is definitely basic. Basic room, basic breakfast, no frills. It served our purposes for a conveniently located, reasonably priced, decent breakfast, comfortable place to spend one night. Also the bonus is that it's across the street from the Rachel's butter tart outlet!
This beachfront country-style resort in Brighton, Ontario features uniquely decorated rooms, some with wood beam ceilings. Barcovan Golf Club is 5 minutes’ drive away.

Location was next to the Lake Ontario , with sandy beach and clear water. Only 15 min from Brighton and about 20 min from Presqu’ile Provincial Park. The facility didn’t have a hotel feel but mostly like a huge cottage with shared kitchen and living and dining area. Staff was present but not like tending the reception 24hrs . They were in the premises doing all kind of jobs to keep the place clean and running. They were always available by the text or call. There was a cute fully licensed outdoor bar/snack trailer by the pool where you could purchase a burger and beer. The place is very pet friendly, lots of guest arrived with their dogs.
The hostess met us and showed us around. Having two bathrooms was great for two couples. Beautiful views, complete kitchen. This property should have a top rating. Hostess left us a local bottle of wine and chocolate, a nice touch!
Only issue is we would have liked to pay on the booking.com site instead of paying in cash when we arrived.

The place was gorgeous and clean, and included necessary amenities. There are two large bedrooms with lots of chance for quiet time. There is hiking, kayaking and lots of fun places to visit. One thing to keep in mind, there are about 20 wooden steps up to the apartment.

Lots of things to do around (North beach, wineries) but not a lot in immediate area. Monday- Wednesday almost everywhere things are closed and required driving to Picton or other surrounding towns for meals.

There was a lovely walk along the lake .

We went to Lake on the Mountain one day and had a lovely lunch up there.
We ate most meals at the cottage as we took our own food with us.
We had intended to Barbecue but the Barbecue at the cottage was disgustingly dirty.
We visited Hinterland Winery which was lovely.
We also ate in Brighton at the Whistling Duck. Picnic tables right at the water's edge. Great food, Social distancing strictly observed. Staff very pleasant.
I would neither return to Stoneburge Cottages nor would I recommend it to friends.

Really nice town. Sister scoops is a must not only because of the fantastic ice creams; these ladies offer a great customer service and you walk away with a smile and the most delicious ice cream in Ontario.
