We are only a few hour's drive away so we come to Canmore often. We prefer it over Banff as it's not as busy and "touristy". The shops are lovely, the food is exceptional and the vibe is laid back.

What a fabulous little town.
What a fabulous little town. Very much a tourist town but not as full on as Banff. Felt very authentic with lots of boutique shops and galleries. People were so friendly and welcoming. Lots of places to eat and have a drink. Will definitely return to Canmore.

Canmore is a happening little town with so much to see and do. Definitely busy though...easier to walk around than to drive. Loved to shop along the main street....lots of cute stores. An absolute must is the vanilla maple dipped cone at the Maple Station! The pizzas at the Rocky Mountain Flatbread are amazing!

Canmore has a free bus service that runs 3 routes in the town and a regional bus to Banff that runs every 40 mins all day. There is a very reasonable fare for the Banff service.
Took the bus and saw parts of Canmore we would not have otherwise seen. Trip up to The Sisters area a must!

It is a great place, easy drive to Banff and the other state parks. The town itself is very peaceful and lots of things to do around town. We were able to get to most of the itinerary planned without too many issues. Canmore is also very peaceful as it is not in the hustle and bustle of the tourist activity.

Canmore was great!
Canmore was great! I traveled with my two dogs from Washington for a quick getaway.
It was the cheaper option for us to stay here than in Banff, but still provided easy travel to the parks.
The downtown area is super cute, lots of shops and food.
The whole place was very dog friendly.
We are at Cabeza Grande, great margs on the patio, and had a delish sandwich from Bella Crusta.

The hotel is really well located, a few minutes drive from Canmore's supermarket and easily accessible when you come from Banff. There are a lot of parking spots available at the hotel. The hall is beautiful and welcoming. The room is clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The free Starbucks coffee filter packs in your room, refilled everyday is a really nice touch.
It's nice and quiet, just outside the center of Canmore. The hotel has friendly staff and spacious rooms with a fireplace, which was quite warm. The Airco made too much noise, so we didn't use it.
There is a Restaurant just around the corner. Breakfast is basic, so we went into town after a good tip from the staff.
The hotel is located quite close to central Canmore, which is much quieter than Banff and has good restaurant options. The room is large, well appointed and comfortable. The reception was extremely helpful and friendly. The undercover parking was a bonus with lift access direct to your floor.
Lovely small chalets with a small kitchen and utilities.
Great view at the mountains.
Don’t expect a luxury small house, but this is great for a few days stay around Canmore and Banff.
There's not much to like here. You would expect a better hotel after paying $300+
After being in Canmore and Banff hotels for more than 10 times, this one was very disappointing.
