Cache Creek Inn, hotel in Cache Creek

Located on Cariboo Highway 97, this Cache Creek motel provides breakfast vouchers and free Wi-Fi. A refrigerator and microwave are included in all guest rooms. Bonaparte Bend Winery is 350 m away.

This place is under renovation. Only the top floor is open. The room was ok. Very noisy. An alarm/compressor in the fridge kept going off. The a/c was impossible to sleep with, so loud. But the room was cool, which was nice in the 39 degree weather. The subway breakfast was a joke. There was no bread, no egg, so the kids had a old stale bun with ham and a few veg, we had the last egg on crunchy flatbread that didn't fold and tasted like an old cracker.

Featuring a restaurant with a private dining room, this motel is located 2 kilometers from Semlin Valley Golf Course. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

Great location, comfy, clean, friendly. Lovely pool table which, sadly, we did not have time to use. We did not have breakfast at the lodge, as we needed to get on the road, so we breakfasted in Kamloops.

It was a one night stop over. So served its purpose.

It was a one night stop over. So served its purpose. Price was good. The room was an older room, unlike the pictures on the website. The room was tired and dark, but had everything we needed.Beds were very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Shower was good. Bathroom I felt needed a hard scrub.

Cache Creek is classic crossroads town with motels, gas stations, restaurants. It has definitely seen better days but has everything you need for a stop / overnight stay. One highlight was the Saturday market in the Summer with a first nations woman selling fresh bannock!

It was Sunday night so very few places open for supper.

It was Sunday night so very few places open for supper. Cache Creek for me was a whistle stop on a trip. The room filled my needs but just. There was coffee & juice and pre-packaged pastries for breakfast at motel so chose to go up the road & find a better choice for breakfast. Supper was in a very nice spot log cabin style but all they served was mediocre Chinese, with very few options. They even had a large sign at entrance. "We only serve Chinese" mean here we are in cattle & cowboy country and it was Chinese or greasy burger & fries at another location. Because it was Sunday, anywhere else was closed. Lol, timing is everything in Cache Creek!

The staff were friendly , very accommodating. For the age of the part of hotel we stayed in was quite old and needing updating, it was clean, comfortable, convenient outside access with having a dog with us.

There's really no reason to be in Cache Creek, unless you are just passing through. Not much to see or do, and when we were there, we couldn't find a single restaurant open for dinner. I don't know if this was a COVID issue, or something else, but aside from Dairy Queen and a couple of take-out places, everything was either permanently closed, or closed at 3 in the afternoon. It was weird. The roads and scenery in the surrounding area are beautiful, however.

Outside looks dated but room was nicely renovated. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner told me about the local food options and how late each was open...good advice! Cache Creek is a small village so everything is within walking distance.

Last hotel room available for an event in town. Wifi worked. Small kitchenette (from the 70s). Housekeeper was pleasant and doing her best in a crappy situation.
