The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.
Highly situated on Cap-aux-Corbeaux, overlooking the Saint Lawrence River, this property is about 5 minutes’ drive to central Baie-Saint-Paul.

Amazing stay! So peaceful amongst the woods. More facilities than one would think possible in a very modern cabin in the trees.
Housed in a mansion built in 1913, this inn is located in the centre of Baie-Saint-Paul. It features an on-site restaurant, a spa, and free Wi-Fi access throughout.
Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.

Great in a lot of way!!!
Great in a lot of way!!! Like the nearby walks, the art galleries, was near a lot of attractions, everything was either a short walk of a short/moderate drive.
The only drawback is the food--the restaurants were extremely expensive and the food there was at best so so. On one evening I ended up with some serious indigestion. There are lots of nearby grocery stores, though, with lots of variety at pretty reasonable cost.

Nice little gem in Charlevoix. Artist shops and boutiques. There are many coffee shops and restaurants so even if you do not have a booking you will find some other place to eat.
Next trip we will try the hiking trails

Lovely town surrounded by gorgeous scenery - especially in the Fall! Streets are lined with well-restored, historic houses and eateries (especially Joe's Smoked Meat!). Lots of galleries and local artwork (at the pricey end) and super-easy for strolling around and riverside walks.

Baie St Paul is a small town packed with wonderful art galleries with art from mostly local artists. I have already bought 2 paintings over the years from an artist who lives not far from the town of Baie St Paul. After seeing his work, I called him and he invited me to see his work in his home. How friendly is that!

The location is great. Right in the hub of Baie-Saint-Paul village. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a great breakfast available and a common dining area for guests (as restaurants were shut due to government restrictions for Covid at the time we visited). Overall, excellent place to stay!
The hotel first class for the price. Dinner and breakfast were not included in the price but very good value,as was the wine selection.
Just a pity I forgot to pack our swimming gear for the spa which looked really good
A subtle mixture of old Europe country life and Canadian relax but energising outdoors and open space. Lots of original features which make you feel at home and a fuss free but stylish and very friendly service
The motel did not include breakfast but was very closed to many breakfast options. The staff was very nice and very helpful. We really liked the sitting area that was very restful with gazebo, chairs and umbrelka
