Having decided before travelling that sleeping in a rooftop tent was essential for campsite locations in Khwai/Moremi/Makgadikadi we would use permanent lodges or tents for the rest of the rip. Here the choice could be a campsite, a tent complete with kitchenette but no en suite facilities or a cottage with a/c. The cottages looked a little bland from the outside although were actually nice inside but a tent fitted our safari mood. Immaculately clean bedclothes, kitchenette equipped to cook, either supplied gas or self set up braii. No meals available but there is a small shop if you need some food etc. Lovely outlook from the deck of tents 1 and 2, or the communal deck. Very comfortable. The swimming pool was clean enough and deep enough for a two stroke swim or at 38c just a welcoming cool dip. And of course less than 10 minutes drive to enter Chobe through the quiet Ngoma gate.
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Mwandi View is set in Kavimba on the banks of the Chobe River, 18 km from Chobe National Park. Some units include a dining area and/or patio.

The hosts are such lovely people! They arranged a day trip for us to the Vic falls which was worth it. The lodge is beautiful. The accomodation is very clean and was perfect for our 4 day stay. We will be back.
