The facilities were amazing, so much nature, which was very well taken care of, the pool was heated to the perfect temperature at night, it was very calm, family setting, great for bird watchers. Easy access to the town and great for day trips to different activities nearby, which the hotel informs you about upon arrival.

I liked the fact that Lagoinha city is near of a beautiful landscape and cities such as São Luiz do Paraitinga, good to rest, even though they do not offer breakfast their hostel is about 50 meters far from 3 bakeries with very decent services and cleanness place, it´s a very calm and silent city. I could rest, and drive few km to find good farm restaurants and water falls.

Great city, very friendly. The city was effectively rebuilt after the floods in 2010. The colonial style architecture is maintained and the houses painted in vibrant colours. The museum Oswaldo Cruz is worth a visit, and there is a shop/ museum in the centre that displays artefacts from slavery. A sharp reminder of the brutality of slavery in Brazil. Incredible.
