Nothing.... There was a heavy smell of mould in the room. No warm water at the sink tap, it was obvious the premises were not well maintained

A lively, bustling area with plenty to go for eating and shopping. It is less urban than Salvador but still very densely populated and active with everything you need close by. I felt safe, especially during the day. I didn't go out at night as much, so I can't comment on that. But it was beautiful and not too far from beaches or other attractions by car or ride share.

We finally got to the beach that is nice but extra trash...
We finally got to the beach that is nice but extra trash laying around very smelly and unhealthy..... several people tried to bump me while shopping to try to get into my fanny pack. We are still in town but I do not ever feel safe here.

There are con artists running the hotel we stayed in...
There are con artists running the hotel we stayed in including violence by staff, localbusinesses willgreatly increase prices when they realize you are what they consider a rich american. I hate this hotel and the low class behavior of management and staff.

New hotel, good breakfast, nice people. Main advantage is the location if you want to be next to the airport. Otherwise the location is not interesting but you can use it as an inexpensive base to visit Salvador and around if you have a car
Everything, really nice place to stay, beautiful garden, nice location next to the beach. Perfect place to go and come to the airport and to rest from a long trip. Thanks for everything!
