The hotel is in a great location, close to a supermarket and right across the street from the bus station, where buses to the waterfalls and the airport go. We had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and very clean, and Denise cleaned it every day and changed the towels. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. Our baby especially liked the rooftop pool, playroom and the decoration. The staff is friendly, although many do not speak English. A big thank you to Stephanie who helped us with organizing taxis and was generally always available to explain everything in English.

The waterfalls were incredible! We visited them from both the Brazilian and the Argentinian side and I would highly recommend travellers to see both sides. Each side is a different experience, and the boat ride into the falls is a must! Totally immersive and you will get soaked! You can do the boat ride on either side.
TIP: The Brazilian side is easy to do on your own, Just buy the park tickets online. Once in the park, there is a bus that takes you to various viewing points of the waterfalls which is included in the ticket. The Argentinian side is best to do with a tour as the border crossing can be complicated and takes a long time if you are doing it on your own.
The Bird Park is also totally worth visiting and it is close to the Iguazu Falls Park entrance on the Brazilian side.

I liked the ARG side (Pto. Iguazu) a lot. Much more charming than Foz do Iguacu. Of course, Foz (BRAS) is a city, Pto.Iguazu (ARG) is a town!
The BEST place to see "the 3 frontiers" is on the ARG side: this one overlooks the BRAS side. (Also, the ARG side is free, the BRAS side isn´t.)
The "Night-dinner river boat/catamaran" (BRAS side) was crazy expensive, so we dropped that.
For taxfree shopping, go (literally: walk!) to Ciudad del Este/PARAG. Super un-charming town, but the shopping is pretty amazing! Also, bring all your electronic devices that need fixing!!

A must-see place that will not disappoint!
A must-see place that will not disappoint! Best to go early morning to avoid large crowds, the trail is easy and very well organised, but when busy it might create long queues.
Food options are quite limited so best to see the waterfalls early and then head to the town for more options.
Best to book tickets online and bring print out so can get inside easily, bus ride is included.
Nice place to enjoy and wonder at nature.

Amazing destination with 3 BIG attractions (Parque do Iguaçu...
Amazing destination with 3 BIG attractions (Parque do Iguaçu/Cataratas, Parque das Aves, Itaipu) and some others that are not worth your time. Stayed 3 days, it was very short. Would have enjoyed 2 more days to spend at the big attractions with more time to enjoy the incredible places. Would avoid going in high seasons, as most of the city and attractions don't have infrastructure to accomodate too many people at once.

Foz do iguaçu is the most spectacular sight and natural wonder we have ever seen. Our hotel stay at the Sanma was perfect and the location was the best. We highly recommend Parque das Aves as well to enjoy the beautiful birds.

A very nice resort hotel with lots of facilities (several swimming pools, tennis courts, football pitch and kids club). They have very friendly staff and also an excursion desk which is very useful for organizing your trip to the falls. The kids club was awesome, as they had different events and activities for the children and the staff there was extremely friendly. The child loved it so much and wanted to spend the entire day at the hotel!
Great location (bus stop with regular buses to Puerto Iguazu (where you can get the bus to the falls on ARG side) and to cataratas de iguacu (falls on BR side) is right next to the hotel), breakfast, and pool. Rooms are simple so don't go expecting a luxurious suite. However, my room was quite spacious. Staff was friendly and let me check in earlier.

JL Hotel by Bourbon was the ideal hotel for me when visiting Foz do Iguaçu. The facilities, the room, the service, the location (A shopping centre is opposite the hotel) were perfect and the price was fantastic. The room was big and comfortable for a family of 4. We had our dinners at the hotel and the food was good. Very decent variety and surprisingly good quality as well. Great for families.
The hotel is only a short taxi drive from the entrance to the Brazilian side of the park which is a bonus as well.
