I arrived Tarija and I was very sick. I was happy that the hotel was very organised tidy and comfortable. Because of my problems I had two days longer booked thanI could stay. I did not have to pay the money for the to unused night, and the hotel staffbrpught me tea in my room. Quality service.

Charming small town. Known for wines and Argentinian-style steaks. Many companies offer Winery tours. In our experience (three times) those are designed to drink lots of table wine, but no quality wines. If you really want to taste good wines, arrange to visit any (or all) of the four largest wineries (Aranjuez, Kolberg, Campos de Solana, and La Concepcion) and ask to taste their best wines. You will be surprised how good they are. Don't be afraid to spend a little more. Still a bargain for foreign travelers. You will be disappointed if you take any of the widely publicized "Ruta del Vino" tours, except for the scenery in the cramped vans.
If you are looking for a perfect stay in Tarija, look no further! This place is a true home away from home. Teresa is an amazing host, such a great soul, generous, warm and always available. She was taking care of us as if she was our mother. She was waiting for us at 6AM at the door and ensured we have everything we need. She will help with organismes a winery tour, transportation etc. The cats are adorable. The inner garden is gorgeous. The bed is super comfortable and ohh... the shower is hot!! The location is superb.
This was a really cool new hostel. The place itself is really beautiful, it is also an art gallery so there are loads of really cool paintings around. It is a really nice place to be. The breakfast was so good, we got served such a lovely spread of eggs and cheese and local pancakes and juice.
The host Edward was so friendly and interesting. He told us all about Bolivian traditions and the city of Tarija and the area and was genuinely so friendly and welcoming.
In other Bolivan cities you get the same quality for half the price but it would be wrong to accuse them of overpricing as the prices for hotels in this city are generally much higher than in other bolivian cities.
