The location of the guest house is very convenient and there is space to park. The view from our room was beautiful and as a whole Zheravna is a spectacular place. All points of interest are easily reached on foot. The rooms felt authentic, it was very comfortable and spacious.

A perfect location to feel the feeling of old Bulgaria.
A perfect location to feel the feeling of old Bulgaria. A birth place of one of the most famous Bulgarian writers Iordan Iovkov, you can literally feel the atmosphere of his short stories from late 19th century at every corner and looking at each house and restaurant. Strong recommended for a long weekend, also a good starting point for some hiking routes in Stara Planina mountain.

Zheravna is a small cosy village,calm and pretty. The old style architecture is unique and the people are cheerful and lovely. I enjoyed the small souvenirs shops where you could buy homemade traditional things from clothes and jewellery to honey and cheese. We bought really tasty and fresh goat cheese which the owner of the souvenir shop has prepared himself. The food here is fresh and amazing! Everything which we ate made us more than happy. We visited the restaurant Zlatna oresha,which grabbed our hearts with their cooking!
It was so peaceful. We really enjoyed the Mountain View’s; the sound of birds and calmness this place brought.
The room was clean and spacious. The stuff was extremely friendly and helpful with information about the area. It was our first visit but definitely not last! Highly recommending you to visit Zheravna and stay at Yovina House.
Zheravna is really really nice! it’s a pleasure to also stay at this house because the staff is very nice! It was a wonderful experience. Also, they welcomed us a few hours prior to the check-in policy because of our travel plans. Very nice of them to be flexible. The food was fantastic.
