Lovely setting in natural surroundings, modern cosy rooms, comfortable beds. Since there was a nice restaurant in the hotel we didn't mind the small choice of village restaurants. They had enough vegetable options for vegetarians. (It would be a lovely place in summer when one can enjoy the outdoor restaurant terrasse as well as the balcony with view into the woods.

It is a decent family hotel with good restaurant. It was obvious the facilities have seen a lot and are (over)due for some renovation but for its money it was ok. We spent only 1night so did not need much. Staff was kind and helpful, food at restaurant was good although the establishment was full and had to wait a little too much. Overall no bad surprises, so we can consider it good choice for the price.

The town itself is not spectacular but has a few places to spend the evenings with good food and drinks. Very convenient for visiting the surroundings, such as the Veliki Preslav ancient ruins, the city of Shumen and its hilltop castle and monument or the Madara horseman.
