Strelcha is a small town in the countryside, located 1h30m by train from Plovdiv. It's quiet and people are friendly. Most people visit it for its hot springs and spa. There are an indoor warm swimming pool open year-round, two outdoor warm swimming pools only open in the summer, and the mineral spring "Bancheto" only open in the summer. Around the town, several old Thracian tombs are found, of which the biggest, called Zhaba Mogila, is visitable in the weekends. The town also features a small historic museum. There are good possibilities for hikes and MTB trips in the hills nearby, including two small lakes.
The women at the reception was amazing! Very kind & helpful. Room was Big as small apartment, it also has nice big balcony, nice breakfast, near free parking. Hotel located at center of the village.
