We went to Kazanlak for the Rose Festival and booked this accommodation in Shipka. The apartment is on the first floor and is about 300m from the Shipka bus station which we depended on because we do not drive. It is also right next to the Shipka Memorial Church and a restaurant is 10m from the apartment so it really is located in the prime spot. As far as the interior of the apartment is concerned, it is a mansion as the details of the decor suggests that the owners clearly have impeccable taste. The place is just elegant and the bed is super comfortable. There is a spacious living room and dining area. The coffee capsules the owner provided was also a nice touch. The bathroom comes with a large sink and the shower arrangement is very enjoyable. The apartment even comes with a sauna which we did not use and laptops are provided. There was also a DVD entertainment system and a gigantic TV. Everything about the apartment is a statement of quality and class. Being able to come back to an apartment like this after a long day is truly a treat. The owners are very kind people and did us a favor by taking us to Buzludzha and waited an hour for us for a small fee which we really appreciated.

The place is like in a fairy tale. I just can't imagine the hard work the owners did to make it so magical. It's got everything and beyond. You can spend whole day exploring all the nice spots for leisure. Everything is done with taste and care. You can even walk around the sunflower fields and enjoy the company of a family of wild hares :) Great job, guys!

In the short period we stayed, we managed to see all the sights around the town. The responsive staff advises us on how to get around everything so that we don't waste our time and where they cook the most deliciously so that we don't go astray. Luckily for us, the place to eat turned out to be no more than 15 minutes from the hotel itself. The short walk between the hotel and the restaurant gives an opportunity to see a small part of the city, revealing part of its unique charm.
On the negative side of things, I would be hard pressed to describe any. I would be lying to myself if I said we experienced any kind of inconvenience.

Nice located, just near "Valley of the Thracian kings", you can visit the Thracian Thombs / tumulus that was excavated until now, you can visit the Roses Fields (if you are there in June / July) and the Roses oil museum in Kazanlak, do not forget to visit also the beautiful Shipka Orthodox Church.
And of course, Buzludha and Socialis Torch monuments, also the Shipka Peek monument need to be visited!
There was no breakfast as the restaurant is being renovated. Vesalina who runs the hotel directed us to other local restaurants for meals, and her husband assisted us to get our heavy luggage up to our room. We had the same room as before when we stayed there in 2019 with wonderful views over the vast valley. The magnificent church is an easy walk up the mountain above the hotel. Our room was cozy and warm, and very well equipped with all that we needed.
Charming house near the centre of Shipka. Helpful and friendly owners, who were able to offer some useful advice. Fantastic outside cooking (BBQ) facilities and a beautiful garden in general. An easy drive to the Shipka battlefield/monument, for history buffs, and also for other activities, such as horse riding. Well-stocked shop a few metres walk away...
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Apart from that great thanks to the couple who run the hotel who couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself looks very pretty, and outside was a beautiful garden with an amazing swimming pool. 10/10 recommend.
As an amazing diamond in the middle of the forest, this hotel surprises you with the absolutely gorgeous interior, its location and perfect cleanliness. If you are looking for a nice place to relax by listening to the birds’ song and enjoying good food, this hotel is your place
