Don't go on Feb school holidays - it's too crowded, however we went to Pamporovo for last 7 years almost every year, always great balance of service, nature, prices.
This year we went in mid of Jan and it was a perfect time to come
- no many ppl - slopes are almost empty
- good snow
- a lot of free ski instructors
- nature is beautiful as always
- one of lifts was replaced and this time N8 was opened

Good mountain for skiing, not so many slopes (50KM) but there are slopes for every level. We had very good weather as it was snowing for the first few days and then was sunny and that was very important for our impression. Also, the whole mountain is covered with trees which creates a very nice landscape. It would be interesting the place in the summer too.
There are many restaurants positioned near slopes, with very good food that is affordable. We especially used FIS restaurant.
We traveled by car and roads were cleaned without snow.

Great place for skiing with children - a lot of easy slopes, many lifts, good prices and closer to Bucharest than Bansko.
Getting around is not easy - parking are crowded and there is no other way of transport (maybe a minibus to connect slopes accese with the rest of the building places would be nice) but we found all that we needed right in the complex and vicinity so we only walk.

The mountain is more suited for skiers rather than snowboarders unless you are just beginning.. Be wary of equipment rentals and ticket sales offices next to the lifts trying to rip you off. They have no shame neither for tourists nor even local Bulgarians. Won't be returning to this mountain, as Borovets and Bansko are just 10x better and more tourist friendly.

Our favorite place to ski in Bulgaria. The views, the air, the slopes - everything is delightful! And having a lunch at a sunlit deck at the top of Snezhanka mountain is an experience the whole family remembers. Can't wait to come back.

We visited Pamporovo 8th-10th of March 2024. Very few people compared to other times I was there. It was perfect for all family (two kids of 9 and 10 years), because there was enough snow, very nice weather and we never waited for lifts. We enjoyed skiing in the slopes (well prepared slopes that turned to melted snow afternoon) and also offpiste and in forest. A lot of hotels/appartments near the ski slopes with normal prices. Very beautiful forests. We waked in the forest and saw several times deers (also out of our appartment window). The bars/food on the ski slopes nice with good atmosphere. Only bad experience was the food in "White house" restaurant - bad quality food in high prices - that only could explain the small number of people in the resort. No other explanation found.

Quiet location, near to the Malina ski center - 10 minutes walking. The driver of the ski shuttle was very kind. Kind staff at the reception, kind waiters at the restaurant and kind man at the spa centre. The temperature at the apartment was perfect - 23 degrees. The temperature of the water in the swimming pool was great - 30 degrees, which is very important when you go there with a little child. Good variety of food for breakfast and not so good for dinner.
The apartment was nice, clean and quiet. We were 2 families, each with a child and there was enough space for everyone, including our dog. The hotel provides a bed for the dog (it was brand new) and dishes for food.
The swimming pool, even if not very large, together with the 2 saunas ensure relaxation after a day of skiing.
Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Daniel who works on reception was especially helpful, booking taxis etc.
Rooms were warm and clean with fresh towels everyday.
Breakfast selection was much better than other hotels we have stayed in Pamporovo.
Regular shuttle bus to ski slopes.
Hotel was good value for money.
Very good location, spacious apartments within a a short walk from the ski centre. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was very warm.
We had a great stay here! Very clean and spacious! Amazing view and lots to do. Imagine it would be great during ski season. The host was very helpful and accommodating!
