Forte was quite small but if your into history or just the views well worth a visit parking and entry for
two people 9 leva as you would expect lost of steps put all had safety railings you will need to Google the history of the forte and church as on site information is limited

Asen's fortress is well worth a visit.
Asen's fortress is well worth a visit. In the mountains, the wonder bridges are just that - stunning- the Thracian places Belintash and Karajov Kamak are both well worth a visit as well - if you like interesting rocks - though KK is the best part of a three hour round walk but stunning when you arrive. The local wines are excellent and the rakia unusual but very good.

Good value for money. Very good restaurant on premises. We had a long big tasty dinner with wine and some rakia for 3 pax for 115 E. Big rooms. Renovated bathroom with shower. Great view from the room. Close to the industrial area where we had the meeting. That was an advantage because we did not need to drive in Plovdiv. Close to supermarket. Parking in front of the hotel. Has a Casino and a SPA that looked ok but we did not used it.
It's a small family hotel with cozy territory and the pool.
Fig tree right by our balcony with ripe figs was a big bonus))
Everything was clean and tidy, good bed linen and towels.

The location of the hotel is perfect and within walking distance to the center of Asenovgrad. The setting is idyllic. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was tasty and we ordered sandwich with ham and cheese and French toast with jam.
