Check-in was super easy with a key box. The location is great to explore more of the region and you have your own parking space. The villagers were all friendly as well. You've got nearly everything in the kitchen and there's 4 chairs to sit on to eat your meal (and a sofa). The shower head is massive and the water is hot!
Can also really recommend getting a sandwich at the bakery in Rochehaut.

Such a beautiful area, perfect get away if seeking a peaceful holiday with plenty of things to do if you want a more active break. Thoroughly recommend hiring a kayak. We had a fantastic time paddling down the semois ( 17km) stopping at a beautiful riverside restaurant ( le troquet plage) on the way down. Pizza restaurant in the town was very very good. Loved the little tapas bar ( le barbiche)near the bridge. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a Belgian beer.

I only stayed for a weekend, it's a small town but very charming-looking with ample woods and nature in all directions.
Easy to stay here for a week and not get bored, especially with the town of Bouillon and its incredible citadel only a 30 minute drive away.
Also excellent for dog enthusiasts with the gentle river and accessible forests in the area.

The welcome on arrival was amazing. Such a nice couple, couldn’t do enough for us. Even moved their car to allow us to park our motorbike in a safe place.
The room was large, the bathroom was large, both very clean.
We were given access to living area, and told to feel at home, even could make noise and welcome our friends who were staying at a nearby hotel.
Super clean and breakfast was excellent.

What a place. A bit remote but the staff at the hotel sorted us a taxi to a nearby village to a restaurant and bar and I loved, loved staying here. I fell ill over night and I was with two mates on a motorcycling trip, when I woke up in the morning we were told we could stay another night for free untill I felt better. Amazing, I would definitely go back.
The hotel was situated in an excellent location on the edge of the town, which suited our intention of walking in the surrounding hills. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent with a diversity of dishes in the restaurant.
Very pleasant traditional hotel. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Room was spacious with a huge, very comfortable bed. Bathroom small but modern and functional. Good restaurant and bar. Free parking for motorbikes.
